About Us

"Creating Creators!" is more than just our slogan. It articulates the purpose of a New Alkebulan education. There are so many areas of need in our community and our children have the ability to create the things that will meet those needs. They simply have to be taught to SEE themselves as creators and to THINK like creators. This creator's mindset is achieved by engaging students in hands-on, relevant, engaging projects. All academic subjects are taught in the context of what the children are building, which makes the academics interesting, relevant, and fun. A child with a New Alkebulan education never asks the commonly heard question, "When will I ever use this information", but rather is given the tools to answer the question, "How can I best use this information to move my community forward?"

EDUCATIONAL MODEL

An educational model is the foundation upon which curriculum and instruction are based. An organization's educational model essentially answers the question, " WHY are we educating our children?" Our answer to that question is that we educate our children to instill within them the awareness that they are CREATORS and a sense of responsibility to use their knowledge, skills, and talents to innovate and build the things needed to enhance to our community. The New Alkebulan educational model uses a 4-tiered approach to accomplish this.
